Hi, I'm Maddie! I'm a floral and folk tattoo artist based in Essex, UK.

I started my tattoo journey doing handpoke for around a year, I then moved onto machine and haven't gone back since. As much as I love the process/ history of handpoke tattoos, machine tattoos work more for my style as it has evolved. I was greatly inspired by Mia {self_care_tattoo} - my tattoo teacher. Her way of tattooing in such a diverse and unique way gave me the inspiration to do my own thing and take this leap in my career. I have now been tattooing on machine for going on three years and I absolutely adore everything about it.

My work is broadly inspired by all parts of nature which aligns with my personal love for the natural world. I love to draw anything wholesome or homely; I'm recently inspired by folklore & wood carvings and am leaning towards a more abstract style that is always evolving.

 

I work on both paper and digitally. I often take on custom designs where I feel it fits my style.

The studio brings me so much joy and room to express myself creatively. I love to bring trinkets and flowers as gifts which makes the place feel eclectic and homely. We're all building on a collection of antiques and are very passionate in similar aspects of creation and art.
